The hop starts at 12:00 AM ET November 7th and will end at 11:59  PM ET November 8th.

Want to win a Silhouette Cameo from Santa?

Come see what the talented ladies on this hop have created to inspire you with Winter and Christmas craft ideas! There are 7 stops on this hop and some of the blogs are offering blog candy!

PLUS a HUGE GRAND PRIZE!

So grab a hot cup of cocoa, pull up a chair, and get ready to be inspired and filled with the Christmas Spirit and Winter Flurries of Fun and Inspiration.

Info for how to witn the Grand Prize:

If we have 200 people join us for the hop, following each blog, and leaving a comment on each blog, Santa will be giving away a Silhouette Cameo to one lucky FOLLOWER who leaves a COMMENT! (USA and Canada addresses only for the Grand Prize.) The winner could be any Follower who leaves a COMMENT on any of the blogs in the hop, so be sure to follow and comment on them all!! A complete link list of each of the blogs in the hop is at the end of the post.

Winner's from blogs offering candy will be announced on
Tuesday, November 10 at 9:00 AM ET. Just check each blog to see if you WON!

Let's get started with this Christmas Party!

For my project, I created two cards:

The first one is made using files from the North Pole Buddies and Night Before Christmas collections from Treasure Box Designs. This elf is a real cutie!!! The patterned papers are from Doodlebug Design's Sugarplums collection. I cut the svg banner from a freebie set from Basic Grey that I altered a bit and it is stamped with a 'Absolutely No Peeking' sentiment from My Craft Spot which unfortunately is no longer available.

The Merry Christmas reindeer card uses the newest Bobble Buddies Reindeer cut file also from Treasure Box Designs and the background paper is also from the Sugarplums collection. With the generic winter background, I could have used about any sentiment I wanted, and, for instance, made it a birthday card, Thinking of You, Just Because, and so on; but I went with the Christmas sentiment to stick with today's theme. The sentiment is also from My Craft Spot and is no longer available.

I had a lot of fun making these cards for you and I hope you are enjoying the hop!!!

For my blog candy, to one lucky FOLLOWER who leaves a COMMENT on this post, I am offering:

A free file of your choice from

Treasure Box Designs!!!

http://www.treasureboxdesigns.com/

I am also giving away this set of four Christmas tags:

These were made using a past freebie from Treasure Box Designs
(no longer available in the TBD store). They are about 5" tall and are stamped with an old set of To and From stamps that I have had forever.

(Updated 11/23/2015 - These tags have been added back to the Treasure Box Designs store. You can find them in the $1 section.)

Here is a close up of the top of the tag:

Two prizes equals two chances to win here on my blog!!! The tags will only be shipped to addresses in the USA. The free file from Treasure Box Designs is open to anyone!

Thank you so much for hopping along with us today! Be sure to tell your friends to hop along too so Santa can do a drawing for the winner of a Silhouette Cameo! Don't forget to FOLLOW this blog, and leave a COMMENT before moving on to the next one so that you have a chance to win.

Merry Christmas!

Next up on the hop is the my very talented friend, Theresa!

Here is the complete Hop Line Up:

Melissa (you are here)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Blessings

Sandi, I think that are easy to use, but I also know that I had to go through a learning curve just like with any crafting technique I learn. My suggestion is to go to the Treasure Box Designs facebook page and look at the videos that are there. You can also search Treasure Box Designs in YouTube and see the videos that come there. I am a visual learner and that is how I started. From there, you will pick up more techniques as you practice. Sometimes I wish I had posted my early cards here on the blog. I didn't start out knowing how to ink and chalk my pieces;but when I learned how to do it, it made a huge difference. I hope you will give it a try. I think paper piecing is a super fun way to make cards. It is like creating little art pieces to give away to friends and family.

Hugs, Melissa

Very colorful! Love the die-cuts. So very blessed that you joined our Word Art Wednesday Challenge last week. We just started a new one and we would like for you to link with us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word in Colossians 2:6-7 which tells us, "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Have a wonderful week...
